Martinique has many splendid beaches! The most beautiful ones are situated in the south of the island. One
of the most appealing beaches in the
whole Caribbean is the miles long
Grande Anse des Salines. The beach
has a suberp sand quality and is surroun-
ded by palm trees. Many visitors uses
this strip of sand as picnic place.
Popular is the Cap Chevalier which
seems to be busy during the weekends.
Point du Bout has a ma-rina and many
hotels, restaurants and bars. There are
some hotel beaches and further south
you will find Anse à l´Ane and Anses
d´Arlet which have small beaches.
The beach of Le Diamant is extremely beautiful, miles long and not busy at all.
The northern part has only a few good beaches which are darker and much quieter.
