known as St. Barth or St. Barts, is the "Jet-set" island of the
Caribbean! It is an exclusive destination that attract VIP´s from
all over the world. On St. Barth you will find more villas than on
any other island and most of the hotels have either four or five
stars. St. Barth has a beautiful landscape with steep hills,
small bays with golden sand and brightly painted Caribbean
cottages which are the ideal setting for a relaxing vacation.
The airport where you will arrive is only suitable for small
planes and it looks quiet adventurous if you land. St. Barth
has many good hotels, restaurants, boutiques and is a tax-
free haven. In the capital Gustavia you will find a number of
fashion boutiques and very good restaurants. Some restau-
rants can be compared with the best restaurants in Paris or
New York. On the beach bars and restaurants is a possibility
to spot some celebrities, who do their vacation on St. Barth.
Gustavia has a small harbor and some cruise ships stop there
as well. The harbor is worth visiting, as the old Fort, which pro-
tected it once. St. Barth has a population of only 5,000 which
live in different villages. One of the small villages is Corossol
but St. Jean is the center of tourism and many hotels and
restaurants are placed there. The island has some lovely bays
and the most lovely of them are the Anse de Grande Saline
and the Anse du Gouverneur. They offer golden sand and great
views of the neighboring islands.
