St. Lucia is ideal as a base for sailing tours to the southern islands. Some charter
companies have their offices in Marigot Bay or Rodney Bay. Try MOORINGS www.
moorings.com and IGY RODNEY BAY www.igy-rodneybay.com.
Diving is very popular as St. Lucia has some
great reefs. FROGS DIVING is specialised in
dive trips www.frogsdiving.com. If you like
deep-sea fishing than you could try MAKO
WATERSPORTS makowatersports@hotmail
.com or CAPTAIN MIKE´S www.captmikes
.com. Both companies have many years of
experience. St. Lucia has two golf courses,
the SANDALS COURSE and the GOLF RE-
SORT & COUNTRY CLUB in the north of the
island www.stluciagolf.com.
Tennis can be played in many hotels.
Trips into the tropical nature are also
popular but why always walk? Just
try guided tours on horses. INTER
NATIONAL RIDING STABLES in the
north stefanof@candw.lc or MORNE
COUBARIL (T. 4597340) offer tours
which can include picnic and/or
swimming.
The hotels Glencatle Resort and Anse Chastanet have a great selection of mountain
bikes to choose from. At the Anse de Sables lies the TORNADO KITE SURFCEN-
TER which offers friendly service and good equipment. You may also book a kite or
windsurf course if you want to learn it www.tornado-surf.com.
