The choice is quite good and most restaurants serve a mixture of French and Créole
dishes which are very tasty!
Expensive: Popular is the GREAT-
HOUSE at Cap Estate. It looks like a
plantation house and you can choose to
sit inside or on the veranda. West Indian
cuisine. The SUGAR MILL RESTAU-
RANT is very elegant and has delicious
grill specialities. The restaurant at the
ANSE CHASTANET HOTEL is famous
for it´s setting and very popular. On the
Marigot Bay the best restaurant is the
RAINFOREST HIDEDAWAY which me-
nu changes regularly.
Moderate: The restaurant at the GREEN
PARROT INN has views of Castries and
live bands plays music in the evening. The
restaurant in the MAGO INN is stylish and
is open to all sides. The dishes are tasty
and reasonably priced. Between Rodney
Bay and Gros Islet you will find the LA
CRÉOLE. You dine on the first floor on a
veranda and can enjoy the views. JJ´S on
Marigot Bay has a lovely and romantic set-
ting.
LA HAUT PLANTATION RESTAURANT has great views of the Pitons and use in all
dishes only local herbs.

Budget: Try local restaurants which serve reasonably priced dishes and food stalls.
