Martinique has a good choice of restau-
rants which serve mainly a mixture of
French and Créole cuisine. You have to
pay a bit more than on other islands
but the cuisine is superb.

Expensive: There are some excellent
restaurants like LA FONTANE in Fort-
de-France which is set in a typicla Cre-
ole house. French/Creole cuisine. The
restaurant at the MERIDIEN and at the
HOTEL BAKOUA are also very good.
Try also the restaurant at the HABITA-
TION  LA GRANGE in Marigot.

Moderate: VILLA CRÉOLE in Anse Mitan
has a nice veranda and serves fresh sea-
food. It´s popular since the 70s! AUX
DELICES DE  LA MER in St. Anne has great
views One of the best is the restaurant at
the Hotel PLEIN SOLEIL which serves Cré-
ole dishes and French cuisnie. LA VILLA
ROMAINE at the Domain de Belfond is also
good as well as the L´HIBISCUS in Pointe
du Bout. In POINTE  DU  BOUT you will find
many restaurants and bars which serves
international dishes.
Budget: Try local grills and bars where you can eat without fear as the dishes are
tasty and fresh. The LE BAMBOU in Le Morne Rouge is a family restaurant where you
can enjoy Creloe cuisine at good rates.
