US, Canadian and EC citizens need an passport and a return ticket. All others
should contact the embassy before departure.

International Arrival e.g.:
From USA: With AMERICAN AIRLINES and CONTINENTAL. From Europe:
With KLM / Netherlands and AIR FRANCE / France.

Arrival within the Caribbean e.g.:
LIAT and WINAIR has connections from different islands to St. Maarten. There
are also frequent flights from Martinique and Guadeloupe (see Caribbean
Airlines)

Climate:
There is a nice steady temperature of around 28° C.

Electricity:
110 Volt.

Language:
Dutch is the official language and English is widely spoken.

Currency:
The official currency is the Dutch Antilles Guilde (NFL). We recommend to
take Traveller´s Cheques in US $. Credit Cards are widely accepted.
