Entry permit:
US, Canadian and EC citizens need an passport and a return ticket. All other
should contact the embassy before departure.

International Arrival e.g.:
No direct connections. From USA: With AMERICAN AIRLINES and CONTI-
NENTAL to St. Maarten and than further on. From Europe: With AIR FRANCE
/ France to St. Maarten and than further on (see Arrival within the Caribbean).

Arrival within the Caribbean e.g.:
AIR ST. BARTH has good connections from St. Maarten, Guadeloupe and
Puerto Rico. AIR CARAIBES and WINAIR from St. Maarten (see Caribbean
Airlines).You can reach St. Barth also by ferry. VOYAGER and RAPIDEX
PLORER have daily connections.

Climate:
There is a nice steady temperature of around 28° C.

220 Volt.

Language:
French is the official language and English is widely spoken.

Currency:
The official currency is the EURO. We recommend to take Traveller´s Cheques
in EURO or US $. Credit Cards are widely accepted.
