Entry permit:
US, Canadian and EC citizens need an passport and a return ticket. All
others should contact the embassy before departure.

International Arrival e.g.:
From USA: With AMERICAN AIRLINES, CONTINENTAL to Puerto Rico
and than further on. From Europe: With AIR FRANCE and CARIBBEAN
AIRLINES / France.

Arrival within the Caribbean e.g.:
CARIBBEAN AIRLINES has connections from Guadeloupe and St. Maar-
ten. There are also flights with LIAT. AIR FRANCE serves Martinique from
Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico. The ferry CARIBBEAN EXPRESS ships bet-
ween Guadeloupe and Martinique via Dominica.(see Caribbean Airlines)

Climate:
There is a nice steady temperature of around 28° C.

Electricity:
220 Volt.

Language:
French is the official language and Créole is widely spoken. In tourist areas
Englsh is also spoken.

Currency:
The official currency is the EURO. We recommend to take Traveller´s
Cheques in EURO. Credit Cards are sometimes accepted.
