Entry permit:
US, Canadian and EC citizens need a passport which has to be valid for at
least 6 month and a return ticket. All others should contact the embassy
before departure.

International arrival e.g.:
From USA: With BAHAMASAIR, AMERICAN AIRLINES, CONTINENTAL,
DELTA. From Canada: With AIR CANADA. From Europe: With BA / UK and
VIRGIN ATLANTIC / UK.

Arrival within the Caribbean e.g.:
Daily with AIR TURS AND CAICOS from Turks and Caicos / Providenciales
and some flights weekly with AIR JAMAICA / Jamaica.(see Caribbean
Airlines)

Travel between the islands:
BAHAMASAIR has connectiond to over 20 islands within the Bahamas archi-
pelago. All flights will go over Nassau and you have to change there. You can
use as well the popular water boats, but they will come/go as well only via
Nassau!

Climate:
There is a nice steady temperature of around 28° C.

Electricity:
110 Volt.

Language:
English is the official language.

Currency:
The official currency is the Bahamian Dollar. We recommend to take
Traveller´s Cheques in US $. Credit Cards are sometimes accepted.
US $ are accepted nearly everywhere.
